Here I will share 10 Bible verses on faith, but there are lots more in the Scriptures that I will share another time.

My hope is that these verses will help even a little to strengthen your faith in the LORD your GOD.

We all need to have faith to live a life that pleases GOD, because without faith it is not possible to please GOD.

Here are your 10 Bible verses on FAITH with a few words of encouragement to help you understand what the Bible verses are saying.

Hebrews 11:1 <KJV>

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

If we are going to accomplish the things that we so desire in this life, we need to have faith in GOD. Even though we don't see them with our physical eyes, we believe that GOD will answer our prayers and He will never go back on His Word.

James 1:6 <KJV>

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

This verse is simply telling us that when we ask God for anything, we should not doubt but ask in faith. So we must believe that we will receive whatever we are seeking the LORD for.

Because if we doubt, we are demonstrating that we do not believe that God is able to do whatever we are asking.

2 Corinthians 5:7 <KJV>

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

To live for God and serve Him effectively, we cannot be easily discouraged and distracted  by the things we see with our natural eyes. We need to exercise our faith in the unseen GOD because even though we cannot see Him physically, we know that He is there because He has proven Himself many times.

Mark 11:24 <KJV>

Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them.

We pray to GOD for things a lot, but do we believe that we will receive them? The Scripture is clear about this; in order for us to get those things we must exercise our faith by believing.

"Belief kills and belief cures," is a popular quote. This means that if you do not believe that your prayers will be answered, you are right. And if you believe that they will be answered, you are right.

So your result will come based upon what you believe. That is why the verse above said "when you pray, believe that you will receive them."

Matthew 21:22 <KJV>

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

This one is similar to the above verse, once we have the faith to believe, we will receive. You cannot have doubts about what you are asking your God for because doubt means that your faith is poor and it takes faith to serve God and that is what these 10 Bible verses are about.

Psalm 119:30  <KJV>

I have chosen the way of truth: Thy judgements have I laid before me.

The choices we make in life have a lot to do with our faith. When we make a conscious decision  to choose the way of the LORD every day, we become much stronger in our faith.

These 10 Bible verses  focuses on our faith in God and His word. Faith in His word is what made us choose to live our lives to please Him, because it is better to please God rather than man.

1 John 5:4 <KJV>

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Since we are born-again Christians, we are supposed to be full of faith, and if we have faith, we will overcome the temptations of this world.

Faith in God can move a mighty mountain, faith can make a desert like a fountain, faith in God can calm the troubled sea, faith in God will bring the victory.

Romans 1:17 <KJV>

For therein is the righteousness of GOD revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Once you have put on the name of Christ and call yourself a Christian, you live by nothing but faith. Because without faith it is impossible to please God.

James 2:17 <KJV>

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

If we claim that we have faith, there need to be some action to prove it. Our faith need action for it to work, because if there is no action it is considered to be dead faith.

Hebrews 12:2 <KJV>

Looking unto Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of GOD.

When we look at JESUS, the one whose examples we need to follow, we realize that He despised every insult, and endured the cross, because He saw the joy of bringing about the salvation of you and I.

We too need to endure our cross and fight the good fight of faith. If we don't go through struggles as Christians, we might need to check whether or not we really have a relationship with GOD.

I hope these 10 Bible verses have helped even a little to strengthen your faith in the Lord Jesus.

God bless you.
