Let Us Look At The Definition Of: "God Is With Us" And Its significance.

God Is With Us

Definition Of God Is With Us.

The Hebrew name Emmanuel actually means "God is with us." This means that without God we wouldn't exist; because in Him we live, move and have our being.

The breath that we breath is a representation of the presence of God, and evidence that He is faithful and just.

The Struggles of Life are Real but God Is With Us.

If God is with us who can be against us?

The answer:  'nobody'.

The presence of the LORD is with us, we need not fight the battles all alone.

Psalms  46:1-2

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be remove, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.

Always remember that God is with you and He is there to help in times of trouble.

Many times we face tribulations and they sometimes seem unbearable, but we can deal with them because God is with us. The struggles of life are real and the decisions we make today will determine our future tomorrow.

Even though it might seem like the world is against us, the word of God said that we are more than conquers through Christ Jesus our Lord.

The plan of the enemy is to destroy us, his job is to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came however, that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

You Are Not Alone On This Journey.

There are persons who have been to the doctor, and the result or the report of the tests are not what you were expecting. The doctor might even suggest that you need to go through some undesirable method of treatment, and at this crucial point in your life you feel like you are alone. You are not, God is with you.

There are some persons who have been there for their children throughout all these years. You took care of their every need, worked two jobs to pay the bills, put food on the table and put them through college.

Now they are all grown up and moved out and you feel abandoned and alone. You are not alone, God is with you.

There are many young people who feel like there is no one who understands them, so they struggle physically and emotionally, and they feel alone. The truth that we all should understand is; God is with us and He promised to never leave nor forsake us.

You are mistaken if you feel like you are the only one that is going through whatever you are going through.

The Apostle Paul said in:

1st Corinthians 10:13,

"There are no situation or temptation taken you but such as is common to man; But God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

The keywords in this text are: "that ye may be able to bear it." Many times we want God to deliver us out of the situation instantly, but just like how God delivered the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace, He sometimes allows us to go through the situation and in the midst of it He shows up to deliver in it. And then He deliver us out of it.

Act Like It. Live Like It.

Sometimes we behave as if we are on this Christian journey alone.  We lean to our own understanding and we do not acknowledge God when we are going through tribulations.

This is why we sometimes look exactly like what we are going through, because we believe that we are going through it alone.

If we can only understand that God is with us, we would rejoice in the middle of our trials and celebrate when they speak evil against us wrongfully.

The key is for us to know that we serve a God who sticks closer than a brother. We serve a God who answers prayer, and He will remove huge mountains out of our way.

Action speaks louder than words, and we should minister to the unbeliever by the way we live our lives and by our attitudes.

If we are preaching love, we need to show love to our enemies. If we are preaching kindness, we should be kind to one another.

If we are preaching against adultery, we should make sure we are not lusting after our neighbor's wives for the brothers, and after the neighbor's husband  for the sisters.

In other words we need to practice what we are preaching. If God be God we need to serve Him right because if we are cold or lukewarm, God is going to spew us out of His mouth. Things that are lukewarm are insipid; and we cannot serve God effectively being lukewarm.

Since we are the child of the KING of kings, we should live like royalty.

God is with us and if we can only trust Him; He would deliver us from every trials and temptations that come upon us.
