How To Walk In The Spirit And Bring Glory To God.

Walk In The Spirit

Greetings, let us have a look at how we can walk in the Spirit, and why it is so very Important to strengthen the spiritual man.

Spend More Time With God As You Walk In The Spirit.

Here is what the Scripture said:

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

This Scripture is encouraging us to spend more time in the things of God, and when you do that the spiritual man will be strengthened.

The time that we spent doing the will of God is more valuable than any other time, because it is only what we do for the LORD going to last.

Whenever we come upon certain situation we should always ask what would Jesus do?

If we can truly ask ourselves this question, and do exactly what Jesus would do, we will not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Importance Of Walking In The Spirit.

The reason why it is so very important that we walk in the spirit is because we cannot bring God glory by gratifying the lust of the flesh.

When we walk in the Spirit, we are being obedient to the word of God, and to be obedient to God is always better than sacrifice.

There are many blessings that come with being obedient to the word of God.

One of the important reasons why the Bible said that we should walk in the spirit, is because God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

The Devil Will Fight You, But God Will Be With You.

The devil is going to put everything in your pathway to stop you from fulfilling the purpose for which God called you.

Satan cannot defeat you  as long as you are faithful to God and walking before Him with a perfect Heart.

The Scripture said: God will lift up a standard against the enemy whenever he comes upon us like a flood.

You have to rebuke the very presence of evil, and bind up the forces of darkness from out of your life.

The devil knows those that are his, and he will not attack them because he already have them.

Those who walk according to the works of darkness and satisfy the lust of the flesh are no threat to the devil.

However, when you decide to walk in the spirit and live according to the Scriptures, you becomes an enemy of satan, but God will not leave you nor forsake you.

God rewards those who does His will and follows the examples of the characters in the Bible.

Don't Forget To Fast.

You cannot walk in the spirit effectively if you are not fasting, because fasting strengthens your spiritual man and gives you power to overcome the forces of darkness.

There is a very important thing about fasting that you need to know, and that is, it should not be easy for anyone to know that you are fasting.

You should look normal, and not looking like you are hungry.

Another thing is you should not go around telling other people that you are fasting.

Fix yourself up and look good, because you should not appear unto man to be fasting but unto God.

We are children of the Most High God and He is a spiritual  being so we have to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

We have a responsibility to be an example of the believer, and walk in the Spirit so that we do not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Be blessed.

God's grace Is Sufficient For You.
