Adam And Eve Bible Lesson Teaches That They Eat The Apple And Disobeyed God's Command.

Why Did Eve Eat the Apple?

This Bible lesson teaches that Eve was first deceived, not the man Adam. The woman Eve was the weaker vessel and since she was weaker, the serpent/ ( the devil) knew that she would not resisted as the man Adam would.

Therefore the devil targeted the woman because he knew that his chances with the man would be slim.

Now, at first we see that Eve declared the word of the Lord to the devil; but the devil was very determine and firm with the temptation.

Hence, due to the enticing and fascinating promises made by the devil; bible lesson teaches that Eve the woman was deceived and not Adam the man.

Genesis 3:1-5

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Why Did Adam Eat The Apple?

According to Adam and Eve Bible lesson, we can see that when a man loves a woman he will do anything to please her.

The devil also knew this and choses to get the woman Eve to first accept his offer and then the woman would get through to the man Adam.

So the Bible teaches that the man Adam eat the apple because of the love and tender heart he had for his wife.

He didn't eat the apple because of direct temptation from the enemy, The devil had to use someone that he loved dearly (Eve) to get to him.

Why did Adam Obeyed the Voice of Eve Rather Than God's?

The man Adam became obedient to the voice of his wife Eve, and totally forgotten the commandment of the LORD.

Why?

Because there's something about the presence of a woman, that will make even the very elect and godly men forget the instructions of the LORD.

We also must understand in all of this the critical Bible lesson that: when God gives us His commandments, the devil will always show up to get us to disobey the LORD.

Adam and Eve did not intentionally disobeyed God, they were tempted by the serpent, (devil). Bible lesson also teaches that the job of the devil is to steal, to kill and to destroy.

John 10:10(KJV)

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

For this reason we need to be vigilant, we need to fast more often, pray more than two times per day and study the lessons of the Bible so we can stand against the enemy, (satan).
