We have all asked the question, why am I here? What is my purpose in this life? How did this world began? When you have Biblical knowledge; you automatically have the answer to these questions.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
When we possesses biblical knowledge, we are approved unto God and is equipped to do the works of the Lord. Biblical knowledge also takes the shame of dividing the Word of the Lord incorrectly away.
If we truly love God and want to please Him in every area of our lives, we need to seek to daily feast upon His Word. We should make a conscious decision to daily meditate upon the things of the Lord.
Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
According to the above scripture, when we lack biblical knowledge we will be destroyed. To lack biblical knowledge is dangerous. Because to refuse biblical knowledge is to reject God. The Lord said; "Because you have rejected Me I also will reject thee.
The importance of biblical knowledge
When you study the Scriptures, let it not be for the sole purpose of knowledge, but rather to have a closer relationship with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus has given us His blessings of virtue and goodness to live godly in this life. When we live by them, we automatically participate in the divine nature and spiritual growth is accomplished.
