33 Encouraging Bible Verses For Men.

#1.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

The main reason for writing this article with these encouraging Bible verses for men especially, is because I know that even though men need the physical bread that strengthens the flesh; we need the spiritual bread even more, because the spiritual man also need to be strengthened.

The physical food that mankind consumed on a daily basis, cannot give us hope and an assurance of eternal rest, only the spiritual food i.e. the word of God can.

After Jesus completed His 40 days and forty nights of fasting and prayer, he was physically hungry, so satan used the opportunity to tempt Him into turn stones into bread.

Jesus knowing exactly what he was up to, rebuked him even in His physical hunger; and told him that nothing was as important for living as the word of God.

Most men are so bound to a glutinous spirit, that you cannot even go a few hours without eating.

There is a powerful connection between your spirit and God's Spirit that takes place when you fast, pray and study the word of God.

The plan of the enemy was to make Jesus break the fast, and therefore give the flesh and the devil exactly what they wanted; but Jesus was not intimidated by the devil's trick, He knew that the devil is the father of all lies.

If you are fasting today and you are struggling to stay away from food, remember that it is a test of your dedication, commitment and faithfulness to God.

Remember also that the word of God is your spiritual food and it is very important that you feast upon it especially while on a fast.

Jesus is the greatest example of this experience, so be strong and stand up against the wiles of the devil.

Remember that the salvation of your soul is more important than the pleasures that you get from satisfying the flesh.

#2.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:30 (KJV)

This encouraging Bible verse is telling us that God is our provider and if He provided for the trees, the birds flying in the sky, the fishes in the seas and every creeping thing upon the face of the earth, He will provide for you too.

You are God's children, and there are many benefits that come with that privilege.

God uses the benefits and divine provision for the grass of the field as a great example of HIS capability to provide for us.

The grass of the field is vulnerable in the sense that it cannot help itself.

Yet God provides a very special clothing for those grass, so that everything that they need to survive is made available at their disposal.

Even though He knows that they will soon be cut down and cast into the fire at the appointed time.

Now, when it comes to you and myself as HIS children, the clothing provision is even more advanced.

Even though we are compared to the grass in terms of being here today and gone tomorrow, which is just a birth and death situation because everybody has to die.

However, the thing that made us so special, is the privilege that we were created in His image and His likeness.

There is no greater joy than knowing that you were not created in the image of a

cat 🐈

dog 🐕

cow 🐄

goat 🐐

or monkey 🐒

You were created in the image of God Almighty Himself.

So it is very important that you understand that you are a Kingdom citizen, and an image of God. Therefore God has a responsibility to multiply whatever you put your hands to ensure that you are well clothed and nurtured with divine blessings and favors.

#3.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

As you faithfully go through these encouraging Bible verses for men, I pray for you that the LORD will give you the grace to not be anxious about anything, but to patiently and faithfully wait on Him to answer your prayers.

Anxiousness does not work with God, either you have faith in Him or you do not.

When you pray to God about something, you need to have faith that your request will be granted.

While you are waiting on God, give Him thanks and praise for what He is about to do.

Because, when the praises go up, the blessings come down.

Today as you go to your respective churches, please keep your mind on Christ.

And worship GOD in spirit and in truth because God is a spirit.

I rebuke every spirit of anxiousness and cancel every demon of unbelief from out of your your life in JESUS name.

#4. Encouraging Bible Verses For Men

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 2 Samuel 22:31 (KJV)

The promises found in these very encouraging Bible verses for men are sure because our God is not slack concerning His promises.

The only perfect pathway that you can find in this life is the way of the LORD.

Stop putting your trust in man, trust in God because His way is perfect.

Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, because His way is perfect.

Seek the Lord while the blood is still running warm in your veins, because His way is perfect.

Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, because His way is perfect.

Find time to study God's word, because His way is perfect.

Put your faith in GOD, because His way is perfect.

Fast and Pray to God, because His way is perfect.

Keep your mind on Christ, because His way is perfect.

Remain faithful to God, because His way is perfect.

The way of the LORD is tried, and He is a buckler to everybody who puts their trust in HIM.

#5.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

As a human being living in this world, you will go through difficult circumstances.

You will be heavily weighed down with the corrupt system of this world.

There will be stressful situations, unexpected issues and circumstances that you did not planned for.

You don't have to worry yourself to death with the burden and painful experiences of this life.

There is a God who cares about you, and wants to help you bear your burden.

There is a God who is full of compassion toward us and He sends His only begotten Son to die so that we could escape damnation and overcome the forces of darkness.

You don't have to go through your situations alone, because there is a God.

God said come to ME, and I will give you rest.

As you watch this video, I pray that the Holy Ghost will convict your heart and trouble your spirit so that you will have a change of heart.

I pray that you will reject the lifestyle that exalts the devil and repent of your sins and surrender completely to the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ upon your life.

#6.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 (KJV)

You will go through sufferings and difficult circumstances because of your faith in GOD.

The devil will do everything in his powers to discourage you from the way of the LORD.

These things happened because you are living in the flesh, but there is an eternal glory awaiting us.

In other words, we must consider it a privilege to suffer persecutions so that we can reign with Christ.

We must consider it a good thing to take up our cross daily because the eternal blessing that Awaits us is far better than our present struggles.

Your pain and sufferings are good signs because as a Kingdom citizen and a righteous person, you should not expect an easy sailing.

#7. Encouraging Bible Verses For Men

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1 Peter 5:6 (KJV)

Humble yourself.

Jesus humbled Himself to the death of the cross.

He is the example that we ought to follow everyday.

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

The main reason why God hates pride is because it exalts the flesh which means that it does not bring Him Glory.

When something does not bring God glory it means that the devil is at work among you.

As a Christian, Humility will be the greatest achievement in your walk with the LORD.

It takes Humility to walk before God with a perfect heart.

It takes Humility to walk in the spirit and not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

It takes Humility to trust GOD and take Him at His words.

It takes Humility to love and do good to those who are full of pride.

Humble yourself and take up your cross daily and follow after the example of Christ.

#8.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

Be sober, don't become intoxicated with wine and drunkenness because you need a sober and clear mind to truly serve God.

You also need to be vigilant, vigilant means to be: (watchful) alert, aware, circumspect, and observant.

Your adversary the devil is after your soul, just like a lion hunts for its food.

Therefore Paul is encouraging us to be watchful, alert and observant, because if we are careless and unfocused the devil will devour us.

Let us lay aside every weight of sin because sin will easily distract us from the way of the LORD and put us in a vulnerable spot.

#9.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

Seek first God's righteousness, by living holy and walking before Him with a perfect heart.

When you surrender completely to God and put Him first at all times everything else that you need shall be added unto you.

You cannot neglect the way of the LORD and expect to inherit God's blessings.

God's blessings come with condition and the condition to seek first the kingdom of God and seek to be perfected in His righteousness.

#10 Encouraging Bible Verses For Men

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

The churches today are not humble.

Humility seems to be the last thing that we pray about when we get down on our knees.

The wickedness of our hearts seems to be more dominant than than our Humility.

This land needs a touch from the Great Physician for it to be Healed and freed from corruption.

We need to turn from our wickedness and seek the Lord with our whole heart and repent of our sins.

We need God's help because we cannot do it by ourselves.

#11.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 (KJV)

One of the main reasons why I took the time to write this article on these encouraging Bible verses for men, is because God dropped it in my spirit to encourage men to abide in Him.

The best decision that you could make in this life, is the decision to abide in God.

Abide in HIS will.

Abide in His righteousness.

Abide in His holiness.

Abide in His straight and narrow path.

Abide in the spirit and don't fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Abide in prayer.

Abide in fasting.

Abide in His Word.

Abide in God.

And let God's word Abide in you.

When you become serious about abiding in God and being a doer of His Word whatsoever you ask for according to His purpose, you will receive it in JESUS name.

#12.

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Colossians 3:13 (KJV)

You cannot be malicious and hateful of your brothers and sisters and still praying and asking for God's forgiveness.

I hope as you continue reading these encouraging bible verses for men, you will be encouraged to be more forgiving and patient with your fellow brothers and sisters in the body of Christ Jesus.

God needs us to be our brother's keeper and be kind and loving to each other.

Be an encourager and a tower of strength, not a hater.

#13.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

When you put your trust in God, the devil can do you no harm.

Whatsoever you are praying and believing God for, remember that God is faithful.

When you're feeling stressed and discouraged, remember that God is faithful.

When the devil comes upon you like a flood, remember that God is faithful.

You can trust GOD and His timing, because He is faithful

Have faith in GOD because He is faithful

The devil cannot do you any harm nor danger because God is protecting you from the evil one.

#14.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. John 15:20 (KJV)

One valuable lesson that I have learnt while putting together these encouraging Bible verses for men is this:

As followers of the LORD Jesus Christ and believers in the word of God, you should not expect to be treated differently than how they treated your LORD.

If they hated the LORD Jesus Christ, they will also hate you His follower.

If they killed Him because of His determination to complete God's assignment; they will kill you too if you are determined to do God's work and walk before Him with a perfect heart.

For this reason, the Bible said that the man who made up his mind to live godly, will suffer persecutions.

For this reason, let us be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, because if we suffer for the sake of Christ, we will reap the reward of reigning Him after the tribulation.

#15. Encouraging Bible Verses For Men

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. Matthew 19:30 (KJV)

How long you have been a Christian is not what is going to save your soul.

Sometimes the Christians who have been in the church for many years are not bringing glory to God.

Sometimes it is the ones who just got saved who are really doing their best to walk before God with a perfect heart.

For this reason the Scripture said that many who are last shall be first and many who are first shall be last.

So it doesn't matter how long you have been going to church my friends.

As you continue to go through these really encouraging Bible verses for men, it is very important is your faithfulness to God is genuine or you might lose your blessing.

#16.

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Psalms 27:2 (KJV)

This is a testimony from a true servant of GOD.

There might be some wicked people in your life whom the devil puts there to destroy you.

Those people made themselves enemies of God and as a result, they have automatically become your enemies too all because your life brings God glory.

The significance of this verse is that God will not allow your enemies to triumph over you.

And no weapon that's formed against you shall prosper, because God is your help in times of trouble.

#17.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Since you have decided to surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you need to put away the old sinful ways that used to dominant your life.

The old things need to go so that your life can truly bring God glory.

#18.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Romans 13:9 (KJV)

For God's sake, do not have sex with anybody who is not your wife or your husband.

Do not thief. Whether your employer's time, robbing God of His time or even taking something that belongs to your neighbor.

Do not tell lies. It is better to bring God glory by speaking the truth at all times.

Do not badmind other people for what they have but with prayer and supplications, put your requests to God.

And finally, love people. Everybody in this earth have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

But God loves us so much that He sends His only begotten Son to die in our place that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

#19.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

If you are stressed with the problems of this life, and everything that you do never seem to work.

If you are going through spiritual attacks and the devil is always on your track,

This is what these very encouraging Bible verses will help you to do:

Run to God and give Him every one of your problems and watch Him fix them and give you rest, peace and happiness.

#20. Encouraging Bible Verses For Men

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV)

Many persons are cursed, because you have rejected the very God who is responsible for your existence, and you have put your trust in man.

You were once a committed and sincere servant servant of GOD, but now you have departed from the LORD and placed your confidence in the gratifications of the flesh.

Today I encourage you as a humble servant of GOD to find back your first love, repent of your sins and God will break that curse from your life.

#21.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)

The things that proceedeth out of your mouth as a child of God should be a blessing to others.

You cannot speak like the ungodly man and still claim to be a Christian.

You need to remove corruption from your heart and mind, so that your lips can truly bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speak the things that will encourage a brother to keep pressing toward the finish line.

Speak the things that will encourage a sister to maintain her integrity in the Lord her God.

Speak the word of God, because anything that is not of God cannot bring glory to God.

That is why you need to study your Bible so that you can communicate the things that are are written and be freed from corruption.

#22.

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV)

My friends, remember that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which means that the Spirit of God lives inside of you.

Now it becomes your responsibility to keep that temple pure and unspotted from this world.

Practice holiness, righteousness and godly principles, because these are the things that will keep you from defiling the temple of the Holy Ghost.

The Bible said if you defile God's temple, God will destroy you.

Do not partake in the evil, wicked and ungodly works of darkness.

Please allow these encouraging Bible verses to help you to focus on how your life can bring God glory each and every day that He kept you alive.

#23.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 (KJV)

The only way we can truly do God's will and bring glory to HIS name is by walking in the spirit and stop fulfilling the lust of the flesh.

The flesh is strong and it takes the strengthening of the spirit man to defeat this old carnal flesh.

Feed your the spirit man even more than how you feed your carnal man.

This old flesh shall perish and go back to the dust from whence it came.

Therefore since your soul is so much more important, you need to build up your spiritual man and establish him so that he will be ready to meet his Savior.

#24.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

If you are a fornicator, the wages of sin is death.

If you are a thief, the wages of sin is death.

If you are a backbiter, the wages of sin is death.

If you rob and kill, the wages of sin is death.

If you are an adulterer, the wages of sin is death.

If you are full of hatred, the wages of sin is death.

If you work witchcraft, the wages of sin is death.

Repent, and allow these encouraging Bible verses to speak to you. Turn from your sinful, wicked and evil ways and Seek the Lord while the blood is still running warm in your veins.

#25. Encouraging Bible Verses For Men

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24 (KJV)

You cannot serve two masters, either do what is right or you do what is wrong, but you cannot be a Christian while sinning against God.

Either your master is God or your master is the devil.

You need to despise one and hold to the other.

if GOD be God serve God only

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD Jesus.

#26.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Romans 13:14 (KJV)

You must put on the whole armour of God so that you can overcome temptations and stand up to the whiles of the devil.

When you put on the Lord Jesus Christ, the flesh will have to submit to the principles of God.

When you put on the Lord Jesus Christ no weapon that's formed against you shall prosper.

When you put on the LORD Jesus Christ, you will be divinely protected and these encouraging Bible verses for men mostly, are divinely equipped to uplift you.

#27.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22 (KJV)

Why are you not being obedient to the word of God?

The Bible said that you should be doers of God's word.

You read it and preach it and listen to it, but you never practice it.

Stop telling people not to steal when you are doing the same.

Stop telling people not to fornicate when you are fornicating.

Stop telling people not to backbite when you are doing the same.

Stop being a hypocrite, I might not know you but GOD knows everything.

Pick the beam out of your eye first, then you will see clearly to be of help to others.

Be a doer of God's word and stop playing church.

#28.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalms 121:1-2 (KJV)

Do not lift up your eyes unto man to seek out the help of mankind, because your help doesn't come from man your help cometh from the LORD.

When man fail you and deceive you, it is a lesson that you should have never put your trust in man because mankind is not the solution.

The solution or the help to your problems can only be found in JESUS .

The promises of the Lord are sure and they will never fail me and they will never fail you. I pray that these encouraging Bible verses for men especially, will bless you tremendously if you are having a bad day.

#29.

Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

Jeremiah 5:25 (KJV)

You wonder why your prayers are not being answered and your requests not granted.

The answer to that question is obvious in this Scripture.

Your sins are blocking your blessings, blocking your healing, blocking your breakthrough and blocking your deliverance.

You cannot see the miraculous hand of God working in your life if you keep walking before God with an abominable heart.

Release the grip that you hold on so tightly to your sins with, and repent before the LORD and surrender to HIM completely.

When you do this, you will get the victory.

#30. Encouraging Bible Verses For Men
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6 (KJV)

When the Apostle Paul instructed us to be careful for nothing, he means that we should be extremely careful how we live in this evil world.

The devil is working overtime just to make sure that you don't make it into the kingdom of God.

The devil is working overtime to keep you away from God and keep you bound in your sins for the rest of your life.

Be careful for nothing, because it is the little things that you consider to be nothing, are the very things that will make you miss the rapture.

However, in everything that your heart so desire, by prayer and supplications and with your heart full of thanksgiving, put your requests to God.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

#31.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

When you put God first, everything else will fall into place, and with Christ in your vessel you can smile at any storm.

When you try to fight the battle with your own strength, the devil will defeat you terribly.

When you however, go in the strength of the Lord your God, you become more than conquer and undefeated.

Whatever you have to do today, remember that you need the help and strength of the Almighty God.

While the help of your fellow brothers and sisters are important, you need God's help more because He is the source of your life.

There is absolutely nothing too hard for God, but you need to completely surrender to HIM so that He can bless you in due time.

#32.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

The God that we serve is not poor, neither is He limited to our human understanding.

The devil will suggest that you maintain a poor mentality of God, and that is exactly what you have been doing.

You cannot doubt God and put a limit on God and still expect God to grant you your requests in prayer.

The Bible said, all your needs shall be supplied, because God is wealthy beyond your human comprehension.

When you read about the greatness of God, have faith and believe, because only your unbelief can hinder your prayers from being answered.

Your unbelief and your doubt will stop the blessings of God from overflowing your borders.

Your unbelief will steal your joy, rob your anointing and keep you bound in spiritual and financial poverty for a very long time.

Get Rid Of unbelief and get rid of the spirit of doubt, because God cannot work when you choose to worship them both.

Allow these encouraging Bible verses to minister to your spirit and bless your heart in the name of Jesus.

#33.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)

Use your mouth to bless and encourage people, not to criticize condemn and curse.

You are called to be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that means you need to be very careful about the words that you utter out of your mouth.

It is wrong to use the same mouth that you praise God with to utter expletives and hateful speeches.

Bitter and sweet water cannot come from the same fountain.

Good and evil are not compatible, as a servant of GOD you need to speak about the good works of Christ, and rebuke the very thought of evil.

Put your tongue under subjection, and condition your mind so that both of them submit to the principles and doctrines of God.

Men have real struggles and difficult circumstances from time to time; so it is truly amazing that there are many encouraging Bible verses for men to uplift and strengthen us as we continue the work of the LORD.
