The key to success in a godly relationship is total humility and submission to the Lord our God.

Persons Who Are in a Godly Relationship do Not Join Themselves With Unbelievers.

2nd Corinthians 6:14

A Godly Relationship Always Put GOD First.

The key to succeed in a godly relationship is total humility and submission to the mighty GOD of our salvation. The Bible said when we humble ourselves under GOD, HE will lift us up and pour HIS blessings upon us when the time is right.

1 Peter 5:6-7

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Often time in relationships the spirit of humility is absent. The main reason for this is because GOD is not the foundation upon which the relationship is built. We do not put God first.

You cannot have a godly relationship until you stop trying to control things. You need to let go, and let GOD have His way.

A Godly Relationship is Hard Work.

You cannot desire a godly relationship and don't want to work toward it. You have to work at your relationships like you are working for the LORD. Work at it with all your heart, work at it like it is significantly important, because it is.

Colossians 3:23

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

To truly work on your relationships like this, takes great humility and deep love for your partner. If the love is not genuine, the attitude toward improvement will be negative.

Pray Together.

The family that prays together will definitely stay together. Prayer is important in every aspect of our lives. So the solution to maintain a godly relationship is that both the male and female must seek GOD'S help together.

You should pray for each other's relationship with the LORD.  I know you want to see your relationship with your spouse improve, but a relationship with GOD is even more important.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

When we understand the significance of seeking the face of the LORD for ourselves first, it becomes easier to join with our spouse in prayer.

Sisters, pray for husbands with godly leadership character.

It is the desire of every woman to have a husband who possesses a godly character. You cannot simply wish you have one or hope that the one that is coming will have excellent godly-leadership-skills.

Ephesians 5:23

For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

You will need to get down on your knees and cry out to GOD for a husband with godly qualities. The perfect man that you might be looking for, do not exist. Sorry but it's the truth.

You will have to work together as one to accomplish your goals. Every man have their flaws likewise the women, but with God in the midst perfection is possible.

Husbands should pray for godly leadership skills.

Men are the head of the wives, and if he is to lead her effectively and in the way of the LORD, he must ask GOD for directions.

Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.

The Bible said that the wives must submit to the husbands. Hence, in order for a godly relationship to develop, the man need to submit to GOD.

Men need the divine intervention of GOD Himself if he is going to lead his wife and family along a righteous pathway.

God bless you.
