Understanding The Gospel of Christ.

The Gospel of Christ

What is The Gospel of Christ?

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation. The Gospel, which means {good news} is to educate us in the things of God and help us to draw nearer to God.

We cannot believe in the good news, if we don't have knowledge of His Word and understand the reason for His death burial and resurrection.

The good news of Christ is written in the Bible and it is there for our learning and to help us understand the things of God.

You cannot fully understand the Gospel until you study the Bible for yourself.

The Bible has everything you need to know about Christ and how to develop a relationship with him.

This is why Timothy said; study to show yourself approved unto God.

Because if we don't study the Words of God for ourselves to get full understanding of what is written there, we cannot be qualified to tell others about the Gospel.

Why the Gospel of Christ is Important?

1 Corinthians 15:3

Christ died for our sins.

As I said before, the word Gospel means "good news" and the good news is that Christ came and died for the sins of you, me and the entire human race.

He could have called ten thousand angels to destroy the world and set Him free, but He chose to die to save you and me from eternal damnation.

This make us accountable if when the Lord return, we are still living in our sins, and never taken the time to repent, and accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

The Gospel of Christ is to educate us about the price that was paid for our salvation.

The Bible teaches that without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sins.

For that reason the blood of Jesus Christ was shed so that our sins could be cancelled whenever we repent and seek forgiveness from God.

Let us surrender to God and allow Him to be in control of our lives by being obedient to the things that are written in the Bible.
