How To Love God And Do His Will.

Do you love God?

Loving GOD With Everything You Got.

We love GOD because He first loved us. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, can separate us from the love of GOD. Romans 8:38-39

To love GOD is to keep His commandments and remain in His will. If we hate and rebel against the LORD, we will be repay to our faces. Why would anybody hate GOD or fight against the things of GOD?

Deuteronomy 7:9-10

 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

We will see God's hand of upon the land when we lose the fear of GOD and rebelled against His authority. If we love GOD, we would seek to do the things that are pleasing to Him, because GOD will work all things in our favor when we love Him.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

If you are called to fulfil GOD"S purpose, you have nothing to fear. When you love GOD and walks in His will, He will protect you from the plans of the enemy.

How Do We Love GOD?

The more knowledge we have of GOD, the easier it becomes for us to love Him. To genuinely  love GOD means to put HIM first in every area of our lives.

Mark 12:30

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Our number one priority should be serving and loving GOD with everything within us. When we focus on God, instead of on our problems, He gives us strength to overcome the struggles of this world.

Luke 4:8

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Another way to demonstrate your love for GOD is by worshiping HIM in spirit and in truth. Our worship and devotion should only be towards GOD.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD and enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His Courts with praise. It is GOD who made us and we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

If you love GOD, you will obediently do whatever He commands you to do. Being obedient to God's instructions is not about religious rituals, it is rooted in knowing how much He first loved us, that while we were yet sinners, He sends His only begotten son to died for us.

1 John 2:15

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

We cannot love GOD and the world at the same time. The Scripture said if we love the world, the love of the Father is not in us. We need to make a conscious decision to choose to do the will of God, and despise the suggestions of the devil.

1 John 4:19

We love Him, because He first loved us.

God bless you.
