To worship GOD is the act of honoring, reverencing and being obedient to His instructions.

We worship GOD because He is GOD and He is worthy to be praised.

We worship GOD because He is worthy.

Brothers and sisters, let us worship GOD because He is great and greatly to be praised. He is a Spirit and when we worship Him, we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

Psalm 145:1-4

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

The GOD that made the heavens and the earth is the only GOD that we should praise and worship. We should worship GOD not only on days when things are going well in our lives but also when the devil is on our track.

When the praises go up the blessings come down. So it is significantly important to worship GOD while we are going through our tribulations and our struggles.

Something amazing happens in the spiritual realm when we choose not to focus on our problems but focus on reverencing God in worship. Amen

We worship GOD because He is GOD and He is worthy to be praised.

We worship GOD because of who He is.

God is our Creator and the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He is high and mighty and there is no one to be compared with Him.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

There are many who called themselves gods upon the face of this earth. We serve the one GOD who is the Father of all living.

Our GOD is omniscient which means He knows everything.

Our God is omnipotent which means He is all powerful / His power is limitless.

Our GOD is omnipresent which means He can be in every place at the same time.

Our God is the true and Living GOD and there is no fault in Him.

Our GOD is the GOD of the Bible and all His teachings are truth.

You can search the whole world and you would not find any other god who is worthy of your praises.

Other reasons for worshipping GOD

Worship involves surrendering to GOD and offering our bodies as living sacrifices. Romans 12:1

This means that we are completely sold out to Him and we don't yield our bodies to sinful desires.

To truly worship God means that we get out of His way and let Him lead us.

We need to understand that for our worship to be pure, we must remove our worries, our questions our opinions and ourselves out of the way.

To worship GOD is to make a personal sacrifice to honour Him. A self-sacrifice is required which remove our feelings and our fears so we can focus completely on Him as we worship.

The Holy Ghost plays a big part in our worship because the Holy Ghost is our Helper and we receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon us.

We must worship in the midst of pain and loss. King David worshipped GOD in the midst of the death of his child. He prayed and prayed and yet the baby died.

Even though it is very hard to lose a loved one, David also understand that the LORD giveth and He taketh away, so he blessed the name of the LORD nonetheless.

We have a lot to worship GOD and give Him thanks and praise for. God has been so good to us that if we should ever withhold our worships, we would be nothing but ungrateful.

Keep worshipping your GOD because He is worthy of all our praises.

God bless you.
